Mr. Ammar has a considerable experience in the design, design-management as well as construction supervision of major projects, including master planning, mixed-use developments, and special projects.
During his work at Dar Al-Handasah, Mr. Ammar became familiar with all project stages, from concept design initiation to the preparation of tender and construction documents. His responsibilities expanded on certain projects to carrying out construction supervision and final handing over.
With Dar Al-Handasah Consultants (Shair & Partners) and besides his technical duties as a designer, he played the role of a Project Coordinator for several projects and packages of the Dubai International Airport Expansion.
At PMDC, Mr. Ammar supported corporate client engagements in the areas of architectural, concept and preliminary design. His primary areas of expertise include design and project management for transportation systems, multi-use residential and commercial structures, and integration of advanced mechanical and electrical systems.
At Omniyat Properties, Mr. Ammar managed and looked after all design related issues of every development from the inception of the concept all the way thru pre and post contract activities ensuring, as a client rep, that all design intent is maintained and the delivery of the final product is as per the anticipated time and budget allowed for the same. During this time Hadi had been working with world renowned architects and consultants such as Zaha Hadid, Fosters & partners and others; where his profound experience left its mark on every single project.
At Meraas, Mr. Ammar’s portfolio included a wide spectrum of projects involving urban regeneration projects, master planning, recreational, residential, commercial, mixed use, and high-density/high rise developments. Again his exposure and work with world’s top architects and consultancies such as KPF, SOM, Adrian Smith and others, added a lot to his knowledge and forged his experience in many the areas of urban design and sustainable development.
At Hill International, Hadi is leading the Hill’s Airport technical team on the development and design management of Bahrain International Airport. Besides his profound input onto the development and design of the New Bahrain International Airport Masterplan managing the work of ADPi, Hadi was behind the inception of the concept design for the expansion & refurbishment project of the existing terminal which was floated for development by consultants. He was also behind the concept design and inception of many other airport projects such as the MRO facilities, BAC offices, CIP lounges Expansion, and others.
His involvement is highly valuable when it comes to new design innovations that surpass architecture into the realm of smart building technologies, Green Buildings and sustainable developments.
